This MK1 Fiesta had been in the customer's family from new. After years of everyday use it had serious signs of corrosion especially to the frontal sections of the vehicle wings, inner wings, bonnet, front panel etc.
We undertook the body restoration after the customer supplied a stripped rolling shell. We replaced most panels including new rear wheel arches, front wings, inner wings, front panel, crossmember and bonnet. The doors and tailgate were in very poor condition so serviceable second hand ones were sourced and refurbished. The vehicle was then re-sprayed in the original Ford crystal green after the painting process was complete, the internal body cavities were injected with a cavity wax to ensure good anti corrosion properties.
