After 11 years of everyday use, this Mini was showing signs of corrosion issues especially to wings, front panel, sills, floors, door etc.
Being that the car was a limited edition John Cooper factory conversion that the customer had owned from new, he decided he wanted to re-shell the car with a British Heritage body shell to include new bonnet, boot and doors.
We were then asked to refinish the new shell in a British racing green with a platinum silver roof. All the original running gear, engine, trim, interior and wiring was checked, replaced and overhauled as necessary.
The end result was excellent as you can see from the gallery on the right. The car was returned to the owner for his enjoyment in his retirement years.

My association with the Douglas name stretches back more than 25 years, so I had no hesitation in asking them to put a new body shell on my mini. They provided me with a professional and quality service from start to finish. I am very pleased with the outcome. Mr Boon
