This Classic Triumph TR6 underwent a on chassis body restoration. After close inspection of the vehicle it was decided that we could undertake the body restoration without removal of the body from the chassis as this was in very good condition.
The project then involved replacing both front and rear wings, both sills, B posts and front panel. The bonnet, boot lid and main body were stripped to bare metal. The vehicle was dry built to check all door, wing, bonnet and boot gaps.
After this the refinishing process continued, firstly with a etch primer followed by three coats of 2K dark grey surfacer and after flatting three coats of Triumph Laurel green.
